I have to say that I quite enjoyed this ad. It's a cheap laugh and it's quite vulgar, but it's well done and I can't think why no one has come up with it before. Basically, an ordinary bloke (is there any other kind in ads these days) is giving his Vauxhall one with the petrol nozzle in a garage forecourt. Well to be honest, he's not really giving it one intentionally, he just sticks the old nozzle in the car and it goes berserk, bouncing up and down, windscreen wipers flapping and finally the screen washers go off in a suggestive fashion, as our puzzled chap withdraws the equally suggestive dripping nozzle from the petrol tank. The whole thing is bloody filthy, and quite funny, always a good combo I find, but then I have often been accused of lacking proper critical faculties, most recently by that miserable old git Mr Mustard.

The clever buggers have even managed to make all this automotive humping less gratuitous than it might have been by slapping a cunning strap line on the end. The new Vauxhall, we are told is `extraordinarily responsive.' Stroke of fucking genius boys, and point made.

I imagine it's got a nine o'clock watershed restriction, or at least I hope it has, because explaining what's going on to little Damian wouldn't be too easy. "Daddy, why is the car jumping about when the man sticks his nozzle into it?" I'd have run for cover and said "Ask your mother." But the fact is most of the little buggers know exactly what's going on and are only asking the question to yank your chain.

In passing, I have say that I can't really imagine a bird that would get that excited by the insertion of something so small. Though I did once know a girl who went out with a fat bloke, and when she was asked what it was like, she said it was like going to bed with wardrobe and being fucked by the key. But she married him in the end, so maybe she was extraordinarily responsive too.
