I don't know what to make of this advertisement. I think its about a wedding, but nobody looks very cheerful, in fact there's a lot of very sour faced old frumps who should be told to cheer up or shove off. I know that there are misery gutses in all families but what they're doing in this advert for a nice shop like H&M I don't know.

It certainly hasn't been shown at the focus group I do on Thursdays, otherwise I would have made sure to tell them that they should try and cheer things up. I think H&M is the one that they also call Hennes, I wasn't sure who Victor and Rolfe were, but its a really lovely clothes shop, ever such good value and a big selection to choose from. Its a bit trendy for me, but my daughter and her friends are always down there of a Saturday.

When I asked her about this ad she became really quite abusive. She said that Victor and Rolfe are ' awesome' designers that I wouldn't know anything about, and the people in the ad aren't being miserable they're just cool and that the ad is completely fantastic, not just because she liked it, but mainly because I didn't, and that she hoped that H&M would start making REALLY offensive ads so that I wouldn't dare to set foot in the place ever again. And to think of it, I always imagined she liked my input on our Saturday shopping trips.
